Aquarium Advice Regular
One of my platys is trying to scrape himself on an aquarium ornament rapidly over and over. I think that's called flashing right? What is the cause of that and what can I do about it?

Probably ich, or velvet. What are your water parameters? Tank size?
If all your parameters check out okay, and you're not overstocked...up your heat to 86 over the coarse of two or so days. Keep at that temperature until you stop seeing symptoms, then after the symptoms are gone keep it at 86 for two additional weeks.
