Is this a red dragon flowerhorn? If so and you've owned and had success with flowerhorns I'm in need of some advice. This was a rescue fish who beat incredible odds and I'm a sucker for rambunctious survivors, so I want to make him as comfy as possible. I have a neutral balanced 60g to temporarily house him until my 120g is cycled, I'm familiar with NW cichlids, just not this type, and through researching I've come up with nothing of substance... Can anyone help me? Please and thank you!!!

Thank you, that's exactly what I thought he was. Wow!!! My jaw is on the floor seeing what people pay for these little guys ;-) but I certainly understand why. Although he has cost me about that much in plants, medicine, and my favorite tank, lol. Notice the tape? The little guy decided to spit rocks at one weak seal that I kept my whisper 40i next to this developed a slow leak. I've been rushing now to get my 60g set up for him to grow out in while I get my 120g cycled. I wish my iPad took better pictures- that's neither here nor there, but, the waterproofing tape I had held together for 5 days- I started moving everything a week ago, so I've been letting it drain by itself for the past 5 days, and his is what it looks like now
