Fluval 404 In Line instalation

I have recently upgraded my filtration

I have the 72Bow with
3canister filters 2 HOB filters and 2 internal filters 20 X turnover an hour

the 2-Fluval 404's are hooked up together in line .340gph each

I hooked one up to the other that way i can have Mech filtration in the first one and Bio filtration in the other plus a little chemical

I have one intake which goes to the first Fluval 404 then the outtake from the first Fluval is connected to the intake for the second Fluval404.
then the outtake from the second one goes to the tank.
Has anyone done this?


I use different Media in all my filters
In the fluvals I use
EhfiMech
EhfiFlav
EhfiFix
EhfiSubstrate
BioMax
Ammocarb
Fine Filter Media

Any comments Suggestions????

I cant belive no one hooks up their Fluval 404's in line!!
I didnt think I was the only one with more than one Fluval.

so u mean to tell me no one else has a 72 gal...
If u can afford a 72 gal then u can afford 2 fluvals...

But you have 2 fluval, 1 Eheim etc....

Anyway recently i read a post also regading connecting 2 Fluval together also but i cant find it...
