Do you guys think this filter is sufficient for a 55g freshwater tank? If not, please give me advice, it'll be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have a Fluval 406 on a 55 and it is a good size. Plenty of room for filter media and good flow. I'm not a fan of HOB filters, at first had a Wisper EX70 on the 55 while waiting for my canister and I didn't like the results. There is no way to add different of extra filter media and replacing pads can get expensive. I'd do a canister of some type.

I have a C-4 on my 40g and it does a great job. As long as your tank isn't overstocked I would think it would work fine for a 55g.
