freshwater clams?

Anyone have freshwater clams? I'm just curious, what are they like?

very difficult to keep alive and also difficult to tell whether or not they're still alive. There are also different species, so it depends on what species it is.

Filter feeders--so your tank water has to be really clean (but have microscopic life in it!).
