what is this blob? It's been like this for a couple weeks

I can't really see anything. Is it a tentacle or part of the calcium skeleton? If on the skeleton it could be a new head growing.

Looks like it is simply inflating itself weird. I wouldn't worry too much as long as parameters are in check, it continues to extend itself, and it doesn't continue for too long.

Parameters are in check it's been like this for 2 1/2-3 weeks

Looks to me like a head is splitting. First they make a bubble right in the middle then it goes away and the heads will start to grow separate.
