Before I do anything I want to double check a few things I've read, and compare to my tank set up.
I have a 10 gallon tank, temp 78
ammo/nitrites 0
nitrates 5.0
1 Double tail betta
2 juli cory cats
1 spotted cory cat
I noticed a small white spot on one of my Betta's fins, and figured I'd wait since the cories are fine and it didn't look to be doing anything I guess that was mistake one. He ended up with a second spot on his head, very small so now I'm about to panic. He's eating fine, he's not flashing, he's not staying at the top of his tank. He isn't doing anything out of the ordinary. But I am wondering on how to treat this now. Should I try to do a 100% tank change for one, second I've been reading about salts, in which its 1 teaspoon per 5 gallons. If I go the salt route, how often and how much of water changes should I be doing during this? I'm right now really concerned mostly because we are moving soon (within two weeks) and I know that's going to stress them out pretty bad, and I don't want to end up losing my Betta or cories over this.
