Fuzzy things on java ferns

Saw these things growing on my java ferns but I'm not sure what they are. Help please!

They are the roots from the daughter plants.

thats how the plant reproduces, when they get big enough you can pluck them off and tie them to something and they will grow a new plant

just fyi, it looks like your java ferns are buried in the sand. you are going to need to tie them to something or just make sure the rhizome (thick green part on the bottom the leaves and stems come out from) is not under the substrate as that will cause it rot in a few weeks and the plant to die.

this goes for anubis too if you have any.
