Gambusia

Do you think I could keep a few Gambusia in a peaceful community tank? Maybe if I put them in as frye and raise them with the other peaceful fish?

Depends on tankmates. They are similar in behavior to guppies but larger and a bit more aggressive.

Okay, so if I'm going to have a few Gambusia, the tankmates that I think would be most prone to them if they turn out semi-aggressive are cardinal tetras, otocinclus, African dwarf frogs, and scarlet badis'. Would this scenario be okay?

A few potential issues would be that the badis and adf's might need spot feeding because the tetras and gambusia are both aggressive feeders.

Otherwise they'll probably be fine, I know mine ignore other species in the tank and pretty much keep to themselves, but they can be bullies.
