I have a small clump of HC I plan on moving to my larger planted aquarium but it has become home to a large amount of gammarus shrimp. I'd like to get rid of these pests because most people say that they are bad for plants. I know fish will eat them but I am not willing to risk having some of those shrimp escape and repopulate. How should I get rid of them? Are there any chemicals that are safe for plants that I can use? I was planning on soaking the plant in tonic water/ club soda or saltwater. Does that sound like a good idea?
