I really don't think it matters that much, birdsnests are hardy corals. Ironically, I found a broken off piece of my old one doing great at the bottom o my tank when I did a water Change today. It got sucked up, but it just shows you. It had great coloring and I haven't done a water change in a long time.

Tank is looking really great today. All of the corals and fish are doing really well. The frogspawn has been slowly dying since our temperature hit 88, but today it looks like its starting to actually get better. It will never be the same though, i would reallyyy like to get another one eventually.... :/

When did your to hit 88?? I thought you guys have a chiller.

That's great news about the fish and coral! always nice to look in the tank and see that everything is happy.

Middle of the summer when we didnt have a chiller the tank was super hot all the time... I few corals died (not many) and the frogspawn had been deteriorating the whole time. Now the temps at 79 so everything it thriving and spreading fast!

Ooook. I remember that. I thought maybe something happened more recently. You need to take some nice pics of all your zoas so I can be jealous and want more. LOL!
