So one of my rams keeps going over to a piece of driftwood and getting very dark in color, then turning back when he leaves the DW, anyone know what that is??

Do any other fish like to hang out in or by the driftwood?

Is the rest of the tank a lighter color? It could just be the background, I have some JDs that are a greyish color unless they are over a dark substrate or section of the tank, once they move to the dark areas they turn nearly black.

My plecos are usually on it and other fish swim through it all the time

Yeah I guess so. I have white sand. DW is very dark. Maybe its just the way the light hits him lol
