So my girlfriend and I picked up some fish labelled as Red Head Tapajos at the LFS. She already had three and she picked up two more and I got 5. They look different than the ones she already had from the same store. So we were wondering if this is just a similar looking species that was improperly marked. Thanks in advance!

Any idea on the age? Definitely juvies. They will get the blue and red fins at a couple months if they are red heads. They got the blue lips and blue fins already..

Okay perfect thanks guys! We were just worried because the ones we just got are bigger than the ones my girlfriend already has and the smaller ones have more red on the head and fins. But less blue. But I'm relieved to hear they are tapajos. Again, thank you
