Glowlight with white gillls?

Ok so I was at my lfs store today and a got a few fish to add to my schoals but one glowlights has white stuff on his gills I was thinking it might be ick but it's more like the whole gill is white rather then some white dots any thoughts?

Take him back, that does not sound good at all. Could be a bacterial infection or some type of parasite.

And he is in my main tank now I should take him out cause my lfs is closed now

If you have a place to move him, then move him.

Done taking him back tomorrow he is in a fish bowl but I can't have him infecting my tank hope no damage is done to my tank
