gold ram wants to spawn?

i have a new gold ram and he's been in the tank for a week. i also have a female. and he basically chases everyone around and doesn't even bother the female lol. does he want to breed ? he's a little guy and he chases around my bolivian ram male around the tank!

IMU when two males chase each-other they are usually claiming territory.
 
That is what I believe they are doing as well, you might notice some fin nips on your bolivian at some time but it should subside

The first couple of days I had my black skirt tetras they fin nipped and chased each-other around!
 
My gold barbs got their initiation as well it's kinda funny to see. My upside down cat on the other hand had no problem but I wouldn't wanna touch it either lol
