I have had my goldfish (common, comet, combo) for 2 1/2 months and they are about 3-3 1/2" long. They just began this sort of "swirling" around each other behavior. One in particular seems to be chasing the others, going after their bellies and rubbing along them. I don't know how old they may be. Can you tell by size? And I haven't seen any of the telltale "tubercules" or white bumps on the gills and fins of my possible male. Could this just be aggression?
