So my purple firefish has been hiding in a tiny cave for weeks, I haven't seen it in a while and assumed it had passed but he darted out quickly for food tonight, that's when I noticed his odd swimming. I caught and separated him out and it appears he has internal parasites. His fins are streaked black even though I know my water Chem is perfect and has no ammonia, I assume it's internal organ failure and thus urotoxin. I've also noticed he has white stringy poop.

He can't rest at all with out doing a handstand, his energy is fine though and he's eating.but poor guy keeps doing headstands and floating side to side. Def swim bladder related

Use a copper based med in a hospital tank. It’ll recover.

There are better meds than copper for internal worms & bacterial issues. Follow this link Aquarium Medications Part 2 | Antibiotic & Antimicrobial Treatments and check out Kanamycin & Metronidazole.
Your fish trying to eat is a good sign. The kanamycin can work even if he stops.
