Hi all

I have a strange gelatinous clear/White goo growing in my tank. It's been there a while (about a fortnight) and isn't showing signs of leaving. I think it is also the culprit for cloudy water. Any ideas what it is and how to get rid of it?

How old is the tank? Sometimes when you have new equipment, you get strange goo forming on the rubber of the suction cups or seals. Have you tried wiping it off?

I had the same thing but started to disappear once I started dosing ammonia for a fishless cycle.
