Good fish for 10gallon?

Once my 25g is fully cycled I was going to get some new fish for my 10g. I currently have one 1.5 inch (FGF) fancy goldfish. I want a decent variety, i would like a few schooling fish, a bottom dweller, and a sorta show case fish. I have a few questions.

I don't want to over load the tank and cause a mini cycle so how slow do I add.

What are good types of fish for a 10g. I was thinking a hm betta for the showcase?

How many fish so I would only have to do a pwc ever week or two.

Is the goldfish going in the 25g? If not, your 10g is overstocked already.

Betta, 5 neons, 5 khulis.

Big Jim is right. A pretty betta with 5 neons would look great. I'm gonna side with a few corys though. I love the little buggers.
