Good general freshwater aquarium and fish keeping book?

New to fish keeping and I was wondering if there's a good introduction to freshwater book I could look into that's accepted as an industry standard for beginners?

Good for you!

I commend you for wanting to research and learn about aquariums and fish keeping from the start. So many get a tank and fish at the same time and then are clueless as to why all went wrong and their poor fish die.
Here is the link to Amazon's list of aquarium books. Look through and choose what appeals most to you.
Then as you get the basics and still have questions post it in AA here and many great people will reply with help.
