Good RO Unit?

Will I be able to hook this up to a garden hose with an adapter? I just want to have it running when I need it. The last one I had dripped all the time and wasted a lot of water plus caused damage under the sink.

i would purchase a R.O.D.I. unit that doesn't do more than 75 gallons per day.
a 50gpd or 75gpd is fine. the 100gpd units and above waste a lot more water.

Yes you will just need a hose adapter for it.

Once I filter my water, do I need to condition it or just mix with the salt?

Just add saltwater because the RO unit will remove all the TDS - total dissolved solids, which are harmful to fish.

find a RODI unit, one that does not have the carbon post filter or "taste filter" those just add TDS back to the water.
