Need some advice on good test kits for the 3 ammonias, pH, and o2. Are Quick dips anygood?, almost seems too easy...

I have a saltwater master kit from AP, would there be a better brand?

Ditto. I like my Seachem test kit too. Makes me feel like a scientist....

AP isn't too bad. Just don't rely on thier ph test though. At work, my friend tested it at around 8.8-9. The color was actually off the color chart. But I went home to check the results on the Seachem and it was 8.1. Not even close.

If you want something exact, get Seachem. If you just need to know the bareminimum, stick with AP. My reasoning for saying this is that if AP tests ammonia at 2.5 and Seachem tests ammonia at 3, it doesn't really matter what brand you used beacuse you just know your ammonia is high and you need to tank to cycle.
