So I got the canister filter itself for free from a friends neighbor. Im super stoked but its my first canister and it didnt come with tubes so I would like some info on what all im going to need to get this thing running all I have is the canister fikter itself and nothing else so I know I need tubing and somesort of in flow and out flow just not sure how it all works just yet. Any help is appreciated.

Regular vinyl tubing of whatever length and diameter you need will be fine. You can find this at any hardware store for cheap.

For the intake and return... There are many kits online you could purchase. Or, you could DIY them out of PVC for cheap. And check your LFS, they usually have bits and pieces from other used filters laying around.

Careful with those MarineLand C### canisters. The valve blocks are known for being junk. Test it thoroughly before you put it into service.
