i got a blueheaded wrasse today. this fish is awesome! he is so friendly, if you walk up to the tank he comes up and follows you back and forth. i was surprised he didn't take to the rocks and hide. has anyone here had one of these fish before and if so what are your experiences with them.

I've had one. They are great fish, like almost all wrasses. Thallasoma bifasciatus is not reef safe! They will eat small crustaceans (crabs & Shrimp) and small fish. They are an active fish, on the move all the time and like tangs, IMO, need at least a 4ft tank. Most tend to be disease resistant, begin eating quickly and are a very hardy fish.
