He was 12.99 and he seems a lil aggressive but doing well with 2 clown loaches and 3 hifin sharks

Chinese hifins? They shouldn't be kept with a leaf fish they are cold water. Like a gold fish! Both very cool but different parts of the world

just make sure there's nothing small in the tank. def no shrimps as it likes to hunt them and munches on them.

You took my advice and took the plunge! Best fish out there for a calm fish with a monster bite! I love these guys! I feed mine three whole prawns a day and he loves it here's a latest pic of my boy spike...
