Gouramis spawning?

I have a male and female pearl gourami. The gourami seems to be hanging around an area with a ton of bubbles. He is spending time around my 1 live plant, an Anubias nana, trying to rip it apart to make the bubbles stay together. He is swimming with the female more and more. Will they spawn? He hasn't gotten any breeding coloration yet though.


Aquariums make for a betta world. Wanna discus it?

When he starts driving the female off then they have spawned. If there are other fish in the tank no fry are likely to survive.

The female doesn't seem to favour him. He hasn't got breeding color and the nest is sort near the filter output so it keeps getting destroyed. I know is not the filter bubbles too, I watched him try to make a bubble nest. Oh well, I didn't want them to spawn anyway.
