Grammodes

Ok so i want to get grammodes to breed. I will get 6 and have them pair up and pick the best pair to keep.
1.how aggressive are they really?
2.how long will a 55g last them till i have to upgrade?
3.should i use dithers to keep aggression down between the grow outs and eventually the pair?
4. What parameters do they like. Oxygen,hard,soft etc...

So i need either fully talked into getting them or talked out of them.

High oxygen, that is something I forgot to mention earlier.

Oh and another similar aggression/size cichlid I forgot to mention is the Cuban cichlid. Ima have me a pair of these eventually. They look like small jags, but have the same big attitude.

Ao i actually did end up getting a grammode. Got him bout a month or so ago. Hes about 4" and very very mean. I named him cujo haha.
