ok i was wondering if the green moss that grows around my gutter down pipe is safe to use in my aquarium. what kind of moss is it ?? isn't green moss good for buffering fresh water?? i was considering putting some peat moss in my sump to bring my ph down. but if i can us that green moss, than i have tones of it already.
