Green water

Have recently put some aquatic plants in my aquarium after a whole new revamp fish included, my water seems to have a green tint to it, is this normal?

Sounds like your fixing to have an algae bloom. Might want to grab a uv sterlizer.

It's settled down now, must have been due to a recent water change

I also introduced a lot of new plants and also ended up with a green cloudiness. Did the usual filter maintenance and 12 hrs later all clear.
