Grounding question

I live in a very old apartment. The outlets do not come equipped with ground. Two wires only. Is there another way I can ground my system so I can be as safe as possible? I know I can't be the only one dealing with this issue.

If your sockets dont have grounds on most ground probes there is a small wire with a small circle on the end. Unscrew the socket plate and put the screw into that metal circle and then screw the socket plate back in. I hope your probe comes with this. Mine game with the ground in a socket and this wire.
