I'm in an unfortunate situation with a Warmouth Sunfish (6") that arrived from an aquaculturist far bigger than asked for and thoroughly Ich-ridden, with fin rot and cloudy eye. It also has 0.5"-1.5", wispy white things attached to its fins (all except pelvic) that I haven't been able to identify or determine related to the Ich.
The fish was treated in a 10 gal quarantine alone with Rid-Ich, as per instructions until white spots were gone and is not symptomatic. I moved it to a 20 gal and have been dosing Melafix as per instructions to try to deal with the other symptoms and Ich damage.
Water is around 67 degrees F, 7.6 pH, 0 ppm ammonia/nitrite, and about 20 ppm nitrate. Fish eats krill and minnows.
