i Have like 2 plants in my tank and after a week or two after a water change my gt has some how up rooted my plants is there any thing I can do to get him to stop

Get rid of him. Just kidding. That is what they do. I have two jack dempseys. If they uproot plants I let it float untill the roots get bigger. Replant and hope for the best.

I started with them young. I have two swords and wisteria. I also found that placement is key. Try not to plant in the same place or were they swim alot. It is a hit or miss situation.

They make lead ones you can wrap around the base of the plant & plastic ones you stick the plant in. I personally like the plastic ones. I found them at aquariumplants.com. Type in 'plant anchors' in their search bar & both types come up. They are pretty cheap- 10 lead ones for $1.49, 4 plastic for $1.89
