GT tank stocking

about to add fish to an 80 gallon tank, 1000L per hour filtration

my stocking ideas are as follows

x1 GT
x1 Firemouth
x1 Yellow Convict
x1 Convict
x1 Blood Parrot

would this tank setup work with only one of each type of fish as i have heard this is fine with cichlids, or would i need to pair some of the fish and reduce the amount of species.

was unsure how well this would work and so i would ask on here

I wouldn't stock the Convicts. Firemouths do better in groups. I'd go with an all male tank. GT RIvulatus, Electric Blue Jack Dempsey, 4x Firemouths. Cleanup crew; 4x Botia Loaches, 1x BN Pleco. I've kept populations very similar to this and it worked out fine.

+1 on the convicts. They could terrorize your tank. Especially the blood parrot. My 2 cents.....maybe replace the convicts with a Severum, keyhole or rainbow. Another option....replace convicts with a small group of firemouths and Bolivian Rams??
