So I have a 5 gallon hexagonal tank with 3 male fancy tail guppies and a golden mystery snail. They all seem to be doing very well and are quite active and happy. Two of them were quite small when I bought them and while they are growing, I'm beginning to think they aren't fancy tail guppies at all but feeders.

Anyone know?

Also for a while I was doubting whether or not Curly was a male at all, but he shows all the signs of being a male (besides being double the size of his brothers! haha)

P.S. Would two more guppies be overstocking?

Those are males. They could be Endlers/Guppy hybrids though. There are a lot of hybrids out there. Also, LFS that generically sell "Fancy Guppies" are likely selling you fish that come from people who bring them in as fry from their own overcrowded tanks and little if anything in known about the lineage.

They are cute fish and if you enjoy them, it doesn't matter what the lineage is.
