hardware store t5

I was wondering if there was any issue using the t5ho lights you can get at the hardware store for a planed tank? They seem to be much cheaper then the ones sold for plants specifically. For a 30 gallon tall would 4 24watt t5ho be good for a medium to high light tank? thanks

I would think if they were sat on a glass top they'd be fine..your main goal being to prevent moisture from collecting in the fixture causing damage...also does it come with reflectors?

Ok,what k are they? 6500k for example..

they have a bunch of k's but the 6500k was what i would get if i was to get them. 22 inches and 24 watts each(the size i was looking at).
