Heater question

I'm wondering if I can lay my heater down along the bottom of the back of my tank instead of having it stuck to the back of the tank I think it would be easier to hide the cord hanging down than the heater. It makes sense to me but I've never seen it done.

As long as its a fully submersible heater you are fine.

Just make sure the heater doesn't get buried under your substrate
