Have what I believe to be a submersible heater, came with a kit and no markings on box. The knob to control temp came off. Will that affect it submersability? (1st pic). Also, the bottom portion of the heater glass looks white and stuff on the inside of the glass. (2nd pic). It's been like that for over a month (possibly after a few water changes where accidentally left the heater on) and hasn't been problem, I figured I'd ask since I was posting something on the heater anyway.
