My LR has been in the tank for 2 days now. I've been keeping the lights on for about 4 hours a day, just for my viewing pleasure. Since the tank is in my office, it still gets some indirect light from my monitors. The switch for my lights is in the cabinet below, As I looked up there is a 2-3in long green/blue mantis staring me in the face. I tried to grab a camera but he ducked between some rocks before I had a chance.

Tommarow I plan on getting a small tank from the LFS, my plan will be to plumb it up as a second fuge. At least now I have something to do while the tank cycles.

Have fun catching him, they are smart little guys. I have one in my 220 lbs of rock and he is giving me fits. Can't isolate him, he moves around too much and he just laughs at my trap.
Interesting little creature, wish he didn't have to go.

Yah, especially fun when you realize your hand is covered in blood, Ouch!! I know from experience.
