I have been admiring a friend's tanks for a couple years now, but just didnt have the funds to purchase both a tank and everything needed to set it up. So when another friend offered to give me her 27 gallon tank, I jumped at the opportunity to finally start the process of setting up my own aquarium!
I'm looking forward to learning more about my aquarium and how to keep all my plants and animals happy and healthy!

What do you have for stock, or do you have inhabitants yet?

At the time of this picture, I had 3 male fancy guppies, 3 emerald cory cats, 3 amano shrimo, a mystery snail, 2 nerite snails and 2 assassin snails. Today I went out and bought 5 more fancy guppies, for a total of 8.
