Aquarium Advice Newbie
Hi all!
I'm pretty new to the aquarium keeping world, although I've had fish as a kid. I have a 5.5 gallon tank, HOB filter, heater, 3 live plants and 2 ornaments for hiding, all for 1 handsome male betta and 1 snail. This is my second snail to the tank (the first one died). I'm looking for help / advice on keeping the snail happy and healthy in this tank.
I've done 20 to 25% water changes, tested PH, Nitrates, Nitrites, and Ammonia levels. PH is close to 7.0, the rest are 0. Will adding a cuttlebone affect my fish if the PH raises?
