Will the rust in our water be a problem for filling our tank?

It depends on how severe your rust problem is, and if it is true rust....which if it is, is certainly not healthy for your family to be consuming daily.

My daughter is also interested in having a bubble wall in the back of the tank. Any ideas on pumps to buy? I'm almost thinking I had seen something about the Rena brands being good, but have lost it in my brain somewhere.

Now that I have everything just about ready to put together, I am wondering when is the time to add the Bio Spira. Do I let the water settle for a day or so and then add it? Do I add ammonia first to start cycling?
