Help: Planting a 30 gal hex

I recently got a 30 gallon hex aquarium. I want to plant the tank, but I'm not sure how to go about doing that. I'm thinking of doing some low light hardy plants like a Java Fern and/or Amazon Sword.

If anyone can help and point me in the right direction that would be great!

don't get too overwhelmed, if you're just doing low light plants, you may only need a change of bulb (or fixture, depending)
