hey guys. as you can tell from my user name i usually am on reptile forums. however i have 2 fire belly toads in a 10 gallon aquarium. they have 50/50 land water with a heater. i have rocks as substrate about the size of a dime around. one of my toads recently has become lethargic, wont eat, and his tailbone is poking against his skin very prominently. he has gotten skinny legs and i think he might have swallowed a stone becoming impacted. i gave hium mineral oil one day to try to speed up his digestive time, but nothing happened. he also spreads his legs and seems to push some times like he is trying to poo. any advice would be great. :thanks: here are pics. frog12.jpg picture by vaporlover20 - Photobucket

Impaction is what I meant. Not compaction. Lol. Anyway, what have you been feeding him? If its a stone, your best move is to put him down. Unless you want to pay for surgery.

i think the mineral oil may be working some magic. he is pooping a little right now. hopefully he will pass the stone without a prolapse which would suck really bad.
