Okay so api master test kit results are as follows.

Ph:* 7.6

Ammonia: 0.25ppm

Nitrite: 0.00ppm

Nitrate: 0.00ppm

New tank setup 2 weeks ago. Tetras I had for 1 week and molly's for 24 hours to 48 hours.

What can I do to lower ph? I have 2 molly's and 5 neon tetras. One of my molly's is active the other is slouched on top of the gravel not moving much. Although I did add them in a couple of days ago. do a water change every 2nd day 25%.

I have read about the nitrogen cycle too. Any advice on these results would be greatly appreciated. I always condition the water with api water conditioned before adding.

Your ph is fine. Check with the store where you purchased. I suspect they have a similar ph unless they are filtering. If you want to lower it naturally add some driftwood.

Looks like your tank is still cycling and you need to keep up with the water changes to keep the ammonia down for your fishes sake.

Thanks. I've done another water change today. Molly's are a little more active. One more than the other.
