So a little while ago I got this tank for my little sister's betta.
Hawkeye Aquarius Panaview Aquarium Kit - Betta Fish Tank and Desktop Fish Tank from petco.com
It has 8 white and 8 blue LEDs attached to the lid for lighting. They're under a clear plastic cover. It's a very nice little tank except for the lights which are much too dark. You can barely see inside the tank and it's really ruining my sister's enjoyment of the tank.
I'll never get her to take care of her fish unless she can see him. I'd really like to find a way to improve the lighting but I don't really know how. Has anyone changed lights like these to brighter ones? How did you do it? Or even if you haven't, any suggestions for how I can upgrade them?
