Help with a log

I found an amazing log outside. Ive got it soaking but I was wondering how to clean it and what to use. Thanks

Soak for 2 weeks, Boil it for about 15 minutes, scrub the heck out of it, put it in the tank. Tada!

Ok thanks. I have no problem with any of that except the boiling. It's 26" long. How do I boil it?

Ah... That could be an issue lol. In that case, turn the bathtub water on as hot as you can get it, and let it run over it in-between multiple scrubbings for about half an hour.
