oki i want to make a DIY CO2 but i dont have the money to buy a diffuser. Ive seen people running to air line hose into the HOB does that work. Like Cutting a hole into the intake of the HOB and connecting the airline tube letting the CO2 enter the tank after leaves the Filter.

you shouldnt even have to cut a hole in the in take. i personally would run it under the intake with a air stone or something. this way the co2 gets sucked up. its possible if you put it in the intake with diy that it sucks the air out then the diy mixture. though if you have a bubble counter that might not be a problem.

agreed, just put the hose under the intake and make sure the bubbles are getting sucked in.
