Have you considered Finnex LED fixtures? Or, the Current Satellite LED+?

I would go with the fixture beamswork has that's 54x1 watt LEDs for low-medium light on a 55 gallon and is only 15 dollars more. If its too much light use window screening to reduce intensity. The light you posted wouldn't even work for low light in my opinion. http://bit.ly/1awycFa

Go to aquatraders.com instead they offer better lights for less money then that. Thats where i got my light from.

Try to find the par values of the fixture. Specs like watts and lumens aren't going to be much help or just ask around on the forum.

You can also refer to the color-temperature of the lighting. 6700K is considered ideal for freshwater plants. The range is 5000K - 10KK, as I understand (i.e. 6700K is idea. and lower than 5000K, or higher than 10KK isn't going to be of much use to your plants)
