Now that i have my parents permission, I am hoping to set up a 55g Amazon Biotope. I was also considering a african (Congo type) biotope, but i feel as though this would be a better choice as this will be somewhat a show tank, and the Amazon has more colorful fish (angels, tetras, cories).

Anyways, right now my stocking idea goes as the following:

-12 Rummynose or Cardinal tetras
-3 Angelfish (i would like to have 5, but I don't think it will be possible)
-8 Silver Hatchets
-2 Apistoes
-6 Cories
-2 Farlowella Catfish (twig cats)
- 1 Bristlenose Pleco (only if he seems needed)

I have plugged this into aquadvisor, and sadly it is considered overstocked (filtration was good though with a Fluval 405 and and Aquaclear 30). Does this seem like an ok stocking, or should i try to find something to cut back on.

:thanks::thanks:

Instead or farlowella cats, I would look into getting whiptails catfish. I wouldn't add the pleco. Gold tetras might be a better option.
