Does anyone know how long u can keep sand in a freshwater aquarium befor it is no good

I don't think it does at least I've never changed mine

I think your good to keep it in for a long as you like. I don't plan on changing my sand every few years and it will get expensive.

There's no reason to HAVE TO change sand unless you want to.
